Civil Rights
Since its inception in 1998, Mohrman & Kaardal has committed significant resources to civil liberties’ lawsuits. Few law firms can match our commitment to the cause of liberty for the people of Minnesota.
In our civil rights practice, we seek to represent clients who wish to pursue cutting-edge litigation against the government – federal, state or local -- involving denial of their most basic constitutional rights including political, religious and economic freedoms.
Mohrman & Kaardal has represented parties in the following lawsuits against the government: political candidates muzzled by regulations; landowners deprived of use of their property; elderly people involuntarily removed from their homes; and parents who have had their children wrongfully taken without a hearing.
