On June 7, the Minnesota Court of Appeals rejected the Minnesota Voters Alliance’s appeal of a Ramsey County District Court decision denying election integrity writ of mandamus relief against the City of Duluth and Counties of Ramsey and Olmsted County. The plaintiffs’ claims involved statutory-mandated involvement of GOP election judges on city and county absentee ballot boards. Absentee ballot board members accept or reject absentee ballots. The cities and counties refuse to use major party lists as sources for absentee ballot board members. Attorney Erick Kaardal is representing the Minnesota Voters Alliance.
