Biography

Max joined the law firm as an attorney in the Fall of 2024, having clerked for the firm since the Spring of his third year of Law School at St. Thomas. During Law School, Max served as the President of the St. Thomas Real Estate Law Association, and proudly represented St. Thomas as a member of the Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court team. An excellent writer (and avid sports fan) Max took first place in the Sports Lawyers Association’s national writing competition with his paper “The Rodchenkov Act: When Taking Our Ball and Going Home is Unconstitutional” which tackled complex issues of international law and doping in international sport.

Despite his young career, Max is already a winning trial lawyer specializing in civil rights, employment, and land use litigation.

In his free time, Max enjoys hunting, fishing, rock climbing, and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings and his Fighting Texas Aggies. Max also makes it a priority to stay updated and aware of current geopolitical events and developments, especially those regarding armed conflict. In the summertime—when he isn’t working—he’ll be Up North, enjoying the Lake.
