MKE attorneys have for two decades made election integrity part of their legal practice–winning two election integrity cases at the U.S. Supreme Court (2002 and 2018). Now, polling data is showing that election integrity is becoming a top issue in populists’ minds. In a recent poll by Echelon Insights, 64% of Republicans said they were “concerned” about election fraud, 50% saying they were “extra concerned,” and 18% saying they were “somewhat concerned.” Everyone knows the 2020 general election was unprecedented for its corporate influence on urban election officials’ conduct–hundreds of millions of dollars worth. Kaardal comments, “I think both left-wing and right-wing populists can agree that election officials must be held legally accountable to election laws. If we work together with the courts, we can stop undue corporate influence on our urban election officials. But, it’s not going to happen overnight. Multiple-lawsuit strategies against the government are required–not ‘one and done’ lawsuits.” See link: https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/campaigns/election-integrity-priority-grassroots-republicans
