The Minnesota Supreme Court has granted discretionary review in a Minnesota Voters Alliance case challenging Ramsey and Olmsted Counties on their appointments to absentee ballot boards. Ramsey County and Olmsted County have been appointing staff (deputies) instead of election judges off the major political party lists. Erick Kaardal is counsel for the Minnesota Voters Alliance.
